An artist in his own right, Radim has gone to great depths with his photography, producing artworks that are second to none.

Having a fascination with nature, the Sydney resident was born in Slovakia, a small country brimful of striking beauty. Consumed by the lack of freedom, he migrated to Australia to study, work and be able to express what lay deep within his soul.

“I always had strong ties with nature and after searching my way of expression through poetry and appreciating the complexness and simpleness of nature, I discovered photography,” Radim explained.

After moving to Sydney, the artist became entranced by Maroubra Beach. The choice of his exploration as the tall cliffs towering over the breaking waves evoked feeling of strength and stability, yet fragility, he chose this backdrop as the subject of his artwork.

“The roughness of the stone, the connection to the largest element on earth and it's resisting capabilities and the beauty of natural creation is unmatched by human skill. The sandstone captured me and consequently, I captured it,” he reminisced.

Hoping that his artwork evokes challenge for the mind and subsequent pleasant feelings in all who view it, Radim knows that only then his artwork has been a success.
